This forum is in no way designed to discriminate or segregate. Its purpose is to give teens a place to get the high level feedback they are looking to get from other teens. (aka: brutally honest critique and tough-love editing, lol.)  Preteens turn into teens in a matter of a few short years, so I wanted to make sure they too have a place to cultivate their literary interests, show off their creations, and get feedback from their peers.

To ensure that things run smoothly, please be sure to post in the correct forum.

If you're unsure about which forums you should post in here's an easy guide:

~Middle schoolers are usually 11-13.

~High schoolers are usually 14-18.

High schoolers can feel free to peruse the middle school boards and offer their advice. ;)

Here at CLDF, I have only 2 rules:

~Keep your comments clean! Any and all rude, vulgar, and profane posts will be removed. Posters who persist in such actions will be banned for a determined amount of time or eventually have their accounts deleted.

~Give only constructive critique! People come here for the purpose of having their mistakes or the things they nailed right on the head pointed out to them. If they wanted to just be told "that's great" or "I like it" they would have had their parents read it, lol. Please don't be offended if you find myself and others are picking apart your works and revealing the flaws. ;) As mentioned above, people are here to improve their writings, not to get fluff and buttercups!
